World-Class Care, Locally Delivered Founded in 2025 by Dr. Kirubahara Vaheesan—an internationally trained physician with over 30 years of experience and more than 30,000 procedures performed—STL-IOIR is built on decades of interventional leadership. Prior to founding the clinic, Dr. Vaheesan led one of the largest liver cancer programs in the country, expanding the SLU Interventional Radiology program to over 9,000 procedures annually. He has been a St. Louis Magazine's Top Doctor for the last 5 years.  He is the only interventional radiologist to receive the prestigious Naomi Judd Award from the SLU Liver Center.
