Since then, our legacy of innovation has included the invention of the transistor – the building block of today’s digital world – as well as the solar cell, the communications satellite and machine learning.
Throughout its history, AT&T has reinvented itself time and time again – most recently adding Warner Media to reshape the world of technology, media and telecommunications. Our two companies are no strangers to making history together. In the 1920s, AT&T built the technology to add sound to motion pictures, which Warner Bros. then used to create the first talking picture.
For nearly 100 years, Warner Media and its family of companies have redefined how audiences around the world consume media and entertainment. It launched the first premium network in HBO and introduced the world’s first 24-hour all-news network in CNN. Warner Media continues to deliver popular content to global audiences from a diverse array of talented storytellers and journalists.

Our 5G network is live for consumers and businesses across the country, built on the nation’s best and fastest wireless network. We’re also building Firstnet, the nationwide network that enables first responders and public safety officials to stay connected in times of crisis. Our robust and growing fiber footprint provides gigabit speeds to nearly two million customers. And our heavy investments in broadband and software-based video products give customers more ways to view their favorite content on the screen that’s right for them.
Warner Media, our premier entertainment company, owns one of the largest TV and film studios in the world along with a deep library of entertainment. This includes HBO max, which has 10,000 hours of curated, premium content that offers something for everyone in the household.
AT&T Latin America offers mobile services to people and businesses in Mexico and digital entertainment services in 10 countries throughout South America and the Caribbean.
Our vast distribution touches millions of subscribers. And the unique customer insights we get from those relationships enable us to utilize our large advertising inventories and new ad tech platform to create unique opportunities to make ads more engaging and relevant to consumers.
