Delta Center for Independent Living strives to meet the needs of lower income adults with disabilities, helping them remain independent and living in their own homes. One way we do this is by recycling used Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Individuals donate equipment they no longer need, and we give it to income eligible adults who need it but can't afford it. We are in need of (not a comprehensive list).
1. Rollators
2. Wheelchairs and transport chairs
3. Wheelchair cushions & ROHO cushions
4. Bedside Safety Rails
5. Shower chairs, benches, or transfer benches
6. Toilet seat risers
7. Adult incontinence briefs, bed pads (unopened) 8. Bathroom safety bars/grab bars
9. Ramps
Remember, this program is donation based. Without donations, we cannot continue to provide DME to those in need. Please keep us in mind if you have a piece of equipment that you no longer need.
